Jonathan M. Colman is a shareholder at Barron, Rosenberg, Mayoras & Mayoras. He concentrates his practice in litigation with a focus on trust and estate disputes, as well as guardianship, conservatorship and other probate disputes. Jon has significant experience in representing fiduciaries, as well as heirs, beneficiaries and other interested parties in complex probate proceedings throughout the State of Michigan. He also counsels clients on best practices and strategies to avoid future disputes when setting their personal and business affairs in order. In addition to his trust & estate and probate practice, Jon also advises a number of businesses on litigation and other matters. Clients trust Jon for his keen insights and thoughtful approach to their issues.

Jon serves in leadership roles with a number of civic and community organizations, including serving as Co-Chairman of the Board of Leaders for Kids, an advisory board to the Children’s Foundation (formerly Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation) and the Children’s Foundation’s Planned Giving Advisory Council. He is also a member of the Financial and Estate Planning Council of Metropolitan Detroit.
