Jeffrey (“Jeff”) M. Bloom is an attorney at Barron, Rosenberg, Mayoras & Mayoras. He concentrates his practice in litigation with a focus on trust and estate disputes, as well as probate and business matters, and also advises and represents clients in real estate and licensing matters. Prior to joining the firm, Jeff was a senior attorney in the litigation department of a national law firm, and then in-house litigation counsel for a publicly traded consumer finance company, where he managed the company’s consumer finance and business litigation.  Jeff brings this invaluable experience to each matter he handles for firm clients, from probate petitions to multi-million dollar business disputes.

While attending DePaul University College of Law, Jeff earned awards for academic excellence in evidence and criminal procedure, and served as an extern with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois.  He graduated from DePaul Magna Cum Laude and was elected to the Order of the Coif, an honor reserved for the top 10% of graduates.  While at the University of Michigan, Jeff was a member of the University of Michigan Marching Band in the alto saxophone section.  Jeff is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of Michigan, and the Federal District Courts for both the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan.

Jeff currently serves as a director of the Grosse Pointe Woods Foundation, and a member of the Grosse Pointe Sunrise Rotary Club.  He lives with his wife, Laura, and two sons, Benjamin and William, in Grosse Pointe Woods.  Outside of the office, he enjoys rooting on his Michigan Wolverines and other local sports teams, and spending time with his family and friends.
